Millennium Hilton

Thursday 22 February 2007 @ 11:58 pm

Coming to Bangkok? Look no further than the Millennium Hilton Hotel. This 543-room property contains all the amenities and services you expect from a 5-star hotel. Every room in the hotel offers air conditioning, internet access, private safe, separate shower and minibar. You’ll appreciate amenities and services like travel counter, voicemail, ATM, multi-lingual staff and currency exchange to ensure a smooth stay. Relax and enjoy spa, cocktail lounge, fitness center and outdoor pool after a day of business or sightseeing. When it’s time for business, guests will appreciate the business center, audio-visual equipment and conference rooms.

Millennium HiltonReview:
The hotel is so modern and glamorous. Service was very good probably due to low occupancy. Hotel is new with a few months into operations so the glitches have been straightened out. Room is large with very comfortable bedding and spacious bathroom. The main restaurant called Flow is great. The buffet serves bite size food, giving me a chance to taste 100 things without killing myself. The top floor bar called threesixty has got the best view in town, based on my 10 yrs staying in over 10 different Bangkok hotels. Location was a concern until I realized how close it is from the Peninsula. So, traffic is just as good or as bad as the hotel next door. The river boat will save you 30 minutes during peak hours. As long as they don’t raise the price too much, I’ll keep coming back.
